…though I should really say, about me! That’s because Heron Heritage Walks is a one-man operation.

G’day, I’m Patrick Bundock. My vision with this company is to bring Brisbane’s natural and historical heritage to life with expertise backed by enthusiasm!

Heron Heritage Walks combines a few of my passions: history, walking and the great outdoors. I also appreciate the art of good storytelling backed by quality research, having multiple degrees in History and English from the University of Queensland.

I've lived in and around Brisbane for the last ten years, and now call Coorparoo home. When I'm not out on a tour, you can find me at the library buried in a book, kayaking down one of our local creeks, or birdwatching along the river with binoculars in hand.
